Pinkness Study #10 (Woven) wool felt, wood, & paint, 8 x 8 x 3 inches, 2025
This one-of-a-kind wall-hanging sculpture is made of stitched 100% wool ‘design felt’ over stretcher bars. The subtle pink color is a result reflected light hitting intensely bright neon pink paint on the underside of the raised wavy horizontal strip. This experiment in color is one of nine of wall-mounted cleanly simplified minimalist sculptures. Depending on the lighting source, intensity, and direction the pink effect varies, offering different moods and effects.
